How on earth do you use digital platforms to help more people into disability sport?
17% of disabled people in the UK are now regularly taking part in sport, up from 15% ten yeas ago. But there is a long way to go. Recognising this, the English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) and Sport England asked for our help to create online resources to help both national and local sports organisations to engage more disabled people.
We created the Inclusion Club Hub, a reactive, fully accessible, digital toolkit that sporting organisations use in a variety of ways, including: auditing how inclusive they are, developing a club action plan, supporting their progress towards achieving a Sport England Clubmark accreditation, or as a tool for general planning.
The digital toolkit runs on a bespoke web application to give organisations highly personalised feedback, and it’s brought to life with clear, engaging and fun graphics that capture the joy, excitement and potential of disabled sport. The response has been tremendous, with more than 600 individual clubs already using the Hub to attract more disabled people into sport.
